Social Media Manager

ChesedGamesOnline is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to oversee our presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance our online presence, engage our community, and promote our mission of teaching game development and fostering the game development scene in Suriname.

Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Create and implement a social media strategy aligned with ChesedGamesOnline’s goals and objectives.
• Content Creation: Develop, curate, and manage engaging content (text, images, video) for all social media platforms.
• Scheduling and Posting: Plan and schedule posts to ensure consistent and timely updates across all platforms.
• Community Engagement: Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers to build a strong online community and foster meaningful interactions.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, and provide regular reports to inform strategy adjustments and improvements.
• Collaborations: Work closely with the Community Manager and other team members to align social media efforts with broader community engagement initiatives.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media content aligns with ChesedGamesOnline’s brand voice, values, and guidelines.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our social media presence.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field.
• Creativity: Strong creative skills with the ability to create engaging content for various platforms.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Dutch.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze social media metrics and translate them into actionable insights.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple social media accounts and projects efficiently.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics software.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the ChesedGamesOnline team and contribute to the overall goals of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Experience: Experience with game development or technology communities.
• Knowledge of Game Development: Basic understanding of game development processes and tools.
